OfficeSpace Releases New Distancing Planner Tool
OfficeSpace Software has launched Distancing Planner, a new subscription-based tool that uses advanced analytics to optimize office seating plans for physical distancing by allowing organizations to label desks, assign safe seating, manage shifts, and convert workstations into bookable seats, thereby enhancing employee safety and confidence in returning to the office as part of a comprehensive suite of back-to-office planning tools.
OfficeSpace Software announced the release of Distancing Planner, a new tool designed to help organizations incorporate physical distancing into their back-to-office strategies. Distancing Planner is available to all clients as part of their subscription.
Distancing Planner uses advanced analytics to quickly identify the optimum seating plan based on an organization’s preferred distancing radius. The tool provides real-time visibility into safe seating capacity and allows teams to visualize seating capacity trade-offs at various distancing intervals.
Once a preferred seating plan is identified, users can:
- Label available desks
- Move employees to safe seats
- Split the floor into shifts
- Convert workstations into bookable seating
The tool helps demonstrate appropriate spacing between seats, reassuring employees about the steps taken to ensure a safe return to the office.
