OfficeSpace Requests in Slack
The OfficeSpace Requests App streamlines facility requests by allowing users to submit and manage requests directly within Slack.
To install the app, you must be an OfficeSpace administrator.
- 1.Sign into OfficeSpace.
- 2.Under ‘Settings’, click on ‘Connectors’.
- 3.Click ‘Add to Slack’ to be prompted to sign in to your Slack team.
- 4.Grant OfficeSpace permission to access Slack data by clicking “Allow”.
After installation, the Slack Team Admin will receive a notification that the OfficeSpace app has been installed.
With this integration, employees can:
- Type
/requestin any channel to submit a request quickly - Type any issue (e.g., “Broken Chair”) into the OfficeSpace Requests App to submit a request
- Report maintenance issues and send move requests to the facilities team
- Receive updates on their requests
Facility team members can:
- Accept and delegate requests in real-time
- Attach comments to any request
- Message the person who made the request
- Put a request on hold to maintain SLAs
- Close a request and mark it as solved or unsolved
- Reject a request in Slack and automatically notify the requestor
